Skyrim.esm and Update.esm are missing from my Data Files. I'm not sure why this is happening.
I did try to verify game integrity, but that solved nothing. I did change the plugins.txt file and I did add 2 new lines with the esm files, but that didn't fix the problem. I did the same to loadorder.txt. NMM is able to display the esm files correctly. After Googling the problem it seems that it has happened before. I can't find a solution though.
Select Skyrim.ESM, Update.ESM and Dawnguard.ESM, click OK. Wait a bit, be patient. Once loaded, right click Dawnguard.ESM and choose “Apply Filter For Cleaning”. I have no idea what Update.esm does or if it gets loaded by default, but I know it. (so that we don't have to download a new version of the 250MB Skyrim.esm).
And no, the files are not missing. They are still present in my /Data/ folder.

I recently updated my computer. Wiped the slate clean and installed Windows 8 and a new graphics card and such. Then i reinstalled Skyrim. And then downloaded Nexus Mod Manager to re-integrate all my mods. But it says Skyrim.esm is missing? I check the Data Files in the launch screen and Update.esm isnt there either. Im pretty sure this was working before i opened Nexus Mod Manager because i could actually open it but after the second opening it was a no go.
I have tried Veryifying integrity of game cache, Several times and it always says '1 file was missing and will be reacquired' But upon checking the data files again its still not there. And if i verify again. It says its still missing, yet it said it reacquired it? I also tried uninstalling then reinstalling, and that didnt work either. Please help;_.
